ICANN continues as a Platinum Partner for Nordic Domain Days 2026, and this year they're turning it up a notch.

The timing couldn't be better. When we gather in Stockholm on May 24-26, the application window for the second round of new gTLDs will be open, marking a pivotal moment for the domain industry. ICANN will be on stage to guide attendees through what this means for registries, registrars, and applicants alike.

Beyond the new gTLD round, ICANN brings invaluable expertise on DNS security, Internet governance, and the policies shaping our industry's future. As the not-for-profit organization responsible for coordinating the Internet's naming system, their presence ensures our programming remains at the cutting edge of industry developments.

NDD attendees will also recognize Ulrich Wisser, ICANN's Technical Engagement Manager, who returns to host our Tech segment on Tuesday afternoon. His deep technical knowledge and sharp moderation have made this segment a highlight for years.
