We are thrilled to announce that Automattic is partnering with Nordic Domain Days 2026, bringing with them two names that our community will recognize: .blog and WP Cloud.

For those who have attended Nordic Domain Days before, .blog needs no introduction. They have been part of our event since 2022 and have become one of our most loyal and valued partners. As the only blog-specific top-level domain, .blog empowers content creators to own their digital identity and shape their online presence authentically. Their support over the years has meant a great deal to us, and we are proud to see that relationship grow into something even bigger.

That something bigger is Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, Tumblr, WooCommerce, Jetpack, and many more products that shape how millions of people experience the web. Founded in 2005 by Matt Mullenweg, Automattic employs over 1,400 people across 81 countries, all working to make the web a better place. Their involvement with NDD is a wonderful recognition of the relationship between the domain name industry and the platforms that give domain names their purpose.
